Alyssa Casasnovas, raised in Puerto Rico, is a dedicated mental health professional currently working towards licensure in clinical psychology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and is pursuing her doctoral degree at the Ponce School of Medicine.
Alyssa joined FSA in 2023, where her educational background and clinical training have enabled her to empower clients in managing their mental health effectively. She provides general mental health counseling for children and adults, with a specialized focus on adolescents, children, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and LGBTQ services.
Alyssa is passionate about working with the diverse population served at FSA, finding it the most meaningful aspect of her role. Her commitment to helping clients reduce symptoms, address concerns, and improve their overall well-being drives her work daily.
This practice serves all patients regardless of inability to pay. Discounts for essential services are offered depending upon family size and income.
